| 2010 Rewards Program Details The Starfish Board of Directors has accepted the following establishing credit ($25 per month reduction in your Condo Fee) for Work Days. The Starfish Association has two official work days that qualify for potential credits. The credit workdays will be chosen and declared by the Board of Directors at a time to ensure all owners have as much time as possible to sign up and arrange to attend. The days will be held in the spring and / or the fall. The Board of Directors has approved the following work days: April 10, May 15 and a rain date of May 22. These dates are posted on the Starfish website’s home page as well as on www.starfishassociation.org/Workweekend in order for owners to register for their date of choice. Credit will only be given to the owners who sign up and work on the agreed work day. If an owner shows up to work without registering, they will not receive credit. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to those registering if you include an e-mail address. The maintenance committee will prepare a list containing the names of those who register for each workday and the owner will sign in on that day. Confirmation will be provided to Shipley Management Services in order for your account to be credited. The Board of Directors encourages everyone to register as early as possible since cut off dates will be established by maintenance committee for each workday date so that jobs may be assigned and materials acquired. The Board of Directors hopes everyone will participate. If there are concerns about owners ability to perform tasks, jobs will be assigned on an individual’s physical capabilities. No one will be refused a chance to help. The reason for this change in policy is that owners are showing up to work without notifying anyone. This action makes it hard for the maintenance committee to ensure that it has scheduled the proper amount of projects to be assigned for that workday or to arrange for materials for the projects.
