| 2009 Rewards Program Information The Starfish Board of Directors (BOD) has made a few revisions to the existing Rewards Program in it's continuing effort to maintain the right balance between ongoing preventative maintenance, associated costs, growth in our reserve accounts and keeping lowest possible condo fees. In addition, this will greatly help the maintenance committee ensure that we have scheduled the proper type and number of projects. Program Changes There will be fewer days available to work and qualify for a credit. In addition, owners wanting to qualify for the credit must pre-register and be accepted for the work. Just showing up will no longer qualify the owner for the credit. The credit days that are chosen will be decided by the BOD and can be held in the spring or the fall. After the dates are approved by the board (BOD), the dates will be posted on the Starfish web page so everyone can make the decision to participate and sign up for whatever day(s) they wish. In addition, an email will go out to all owners with the link to the webpage with the dates. Credit will only be given to the owners who sign up and shows up for the date for which they agreed to attend and work. The maintenance committee will prepare a list containing the names of those who sign up for each workday and the owner will sign in at the time the work begins. This signature confirmation for your time spent helping will be provided to the Shipley management company so a credit can be added to your account Everyone is encouraged to sign up as early as possible since there will be a cut off date that will be decided by the maintenance committee for each workday date. While this is a first come first serve based program, no one will be refused a chance to help based upon any physical or personal limitation as long as they get in before the cutoff. Owners can receive a credit of $300 per year or $25 per month for participating in a single work day project during a calendar year. Each condo unit can qualify for the $300 credit every 12 months.
